Great blog! I love it! Saw you on Freshly Pressed (no pun intended) with the title of your latest post, “Caffeinated Ambrosia.” Love it!
On another note, as I began to peruse through your blog I see Columbus, Ohio. I am from Beverly Hills, CA but my mother was born in Columbus and my family moved out to L.A. from Cleveland in the late sixties after they sold their circus. I would love to see more about Columbus.
Thanks, Lawrence. Amazing, did they really have a circus?
C’mon through. It’s not touted as a ‘Top Destination’, but I wouldn’t be here as an ex-new yorker if it wasn’t a great town.
Take care! Thanks for stopping by.
My Grandfather and his three brothers started and owned The Mills Brothers Circus for many decades. I grew up with family stories of Ohio but never visited. Mostly, the family would come out to L.A. for visits.
